NASA’s boss believes that there is alien life out there, on planets that could be just as civilised and organised as ours.
Bill Nelson has said that he hopes some of the unexplained UFO sightings aren’t an ‘adversary here on earth’, and would prefer to think that they’re more likely evidence of extraterrestrial life.
That’s right, the head of NASA believes, so you should too.
Bill, who was appointed as NASA’s administrator in May 2021 was speaking to Larry Sabato from the University of Virginia’s Centre for Politics, when he shared his thoughts on reported UFO sightings.
In particular, Bill spoke about the famous 2004 sighting, when Navy pilots Dave Fravor and Alex Dietrich witnessed an unexplainable object flying over the Pacific Ocean.
During a training, their ship, the USS Princeton detected what has been described as ‘multiple anomalous aerial vehicles’, descending at eighty-thousand feet in under one second.
When Fravor and Dietrich went to investigate, they saw an unusual object floating above the water with no markings or wings.
Then, just as quickly as it appeared, it accelerated 60 miles away in seconds flat.
Noting that there have been ‘some 300 sightings since then’, NASA’s Bill Nelson said that he believes the most likely explanation is alien life.
“I’ve talked to those pilots. And they know they saw something and their radars locked onto it… and they don’t know what it is and we don’t know what it is”, he said.
“We hope it’s not an adversary here on earth that has that kind of technology, but it’s something.”
Explaining why he believes it was more likely alien life than technology from an adversary on earth, he continued: “My personal opinion is that the universe is so big, and now, there are even theories that there might be other universes.
“If that’s the case, who am I to say that planet Earth is the only location of a life form that is civilised and organised like ours?”
“Are there other planet Earths out there? I certainly think so, because the universe is so big.”
So essentially, all those men in black movies were really onto something.
Perfect, nothing to worry about.
Bill’s interview recently went viral, and people are pretty happy to agree with the NASA boss’s theory.
“The probability of life outside of Earth… especially intelligent life…is far far greater than not”, one person commented on Reddit.
“I just wanna see an alien, I don’t ask for much”, wrote a second.
“It is a height of human ignorance to believe we are the only intelligent, civilised life form in the universe/multiverse” argued a third.
Keep your eyes to the skies, folks.
