Rodrygo has extended his contract with Real Madrid C. F. until the end of the 2028 season.
At the tender age of 18, Rodrygo signed with Real Madrid in 2019. On September 14th, he debuted for Real Madrid Castilla, then on September 25th, he made his Real Madrid debut and scored his first goal.
There were eight trophies won over his five years with the first team: one Champions League, one Club World Cup, one Uefa Super Cup, two LaLiga crowns, one Copa del Rey, and two Spanish Super Cups. He scored 39 goals in those 179 games.
At the age of 22, Rodrygo has been involved in several of the championships Real Madrid have collected in recent seasons. Rodrygo scored multiple goals to assist Real Madrid move to the quarterfinals, which ultimately led to the club’s 14th European Cup victory. He scored both goals in the Whites’ 2-1 victory and was named the game’s most valuable player at the 2023 Copa del Rey final in Seville.
