By getting Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong before the summer transfer window opens, Manchester United has been given a big boost.
The Red Devils really like the young right back, and they have been paying close attention to how he has done this season.
United is rᴜmored to be thinking about making an offer for him, and the fαct that Leverkusen has signed a replacement could help them.
Patrick Berger sαys that the Bundesliga team will pay €7 million for America MG right back Arthur when the transfer window reopens. Frimpong has been great for Leverkusen so far this season. In 36 games for the German club, he has scored eight goals and set up nine more.
Aside from helping score goals, the Dutchman has also done a great job on defense. In the Bundesliga, he has won a crαzy 6.7 duels and 1.7 tackles per game.
We think that Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka would be better off with Frimpong. He is a fullback who is good at both offense and defense. Transfermarkt currently values him at €35 million, and we think United could convince Leverkusen to let him go for about the same amount.
If United signed Frimpong this summer, either Dalot or Wan-Bissaka would have to leave.
Dalot is close to signing a new deal, so it seems likely that Wan-Bissaka will be sold, even though he has played better on defense this year.
