In the event of extraterrestrial life being confirmed, former President Barack Obama has suggested that the United States might need to allocate additional resources for defense purposes.
In an interview via The Ezra Klein Show podcast, the former US leader said he “absolutely wants to know what are the unidentified objects seen in the videos released by the Pentagon”.
The 44th president said that “there will certainly be immediate arguments, such as that we need to spend more on weapons systems to protect ourselves”. “New religions will emerge. And who knows what kind of arguments we’ll get into. We’re very good at bringing up arguments with each other,” Obama added.
Former President Obama commented around videos showing UFOs appearing near US military targets.
Former President Barack Obama’s comments come just days after he said he had seen UFO videos “harassing” US military targets and said they needed to be taken seriously.
On May 30, the Pentagon verified the video content taken aboard the USS Omaha in 2019, which showed 14 UFOs surrounding the US warship.
Watch a new video that appeared at the end of May (filmed in July 2019) showing a UFO hovering near a US stealth warship near San Diego and then diving into the water:
Earlier, investigative filmmaker Jeremy Corbell released images shot aboard the littoral combat ship USS Omaha as it sailed off the coast of San Diego, California, USA, on July 15, 2019. “Video taken in the battle information center of the USS Omaha, showing radar recording a UFO encounter,” Corbell said on May 28.
In the video, at least 14 unidentified flying objects (UFOs) moved at high speed and surrounded the US warship. The crew was surprised, trying to determine their speed and direction of flight. Mr Corbell said one of the objects had plunged into the water and submarines were deployed to search for its tracks but to no avail.

This is the second video released by Mr. Corbell in recent weeks. The filmmaker said the US Navy encountered more than 100 UFOs in just one month in 2019, based on the data he collected.
For years, U.S. lawmakers have called on the Pentagon to open secret records of UFO encounters. The US Congress in January this year set June 1 as the deadline for intelligence agencies and the Department of Defense to release documents about UFOs and unidentified aerial phenomena.
In the aforementioned interview, former President Obama told The Late Late Show host that: “The truth is … there are footage and records of objects in the sky that we don’t know personally. We can’t explain how they move, their orbits… they don’t have an easy model to explain.”
If aliens do exist, President Obama said there will be arguments in favor of spending more on weapons and new religions will emerge. “And so I hope that understanding that there are aliens strengthens people’s sense that what we have in common is important,” Obama said in response to a hypothetical question. that humanity has become aware of intelligent life beyond Earth but cannot contact them.
Stories from firsthand eyewitnesses
Former US Navy lieutenant Ryan Graves, who flew an F/A-18 fighter jet off the coast of Virginia regularly from 2015 to 2017, said his fighter squadron detected the spherical objects flew in restricted airspace near Virginia beaches almost every day during this time.
‘Honestly, I’m worried. You know, if these are tactical jets from another country flying there, that’s going to be a big deal,” Graves recently told the “60 Minutes” TV show.
He added: “But since it looks a little bit different, we are not willing to look directly at the matter. We’re happy to ignore the fact that these things are out there, watching us every day.”
Under the plan, a report on secret US government files related to UFOs will be presented to Congress this June after years of videos and reports that extraterrestrials are civilized. Advanced is really alive.
However, the report from the US Director of National Intelligence, combined with classified military files, may not explain much about the intentional incidents of unidentified flying objects over the decades. While not explicitly disproving the alien hypothesis, Pentagon officials have made it clear that their real concern is whether UFOs, or UAPs (unidentified aerial phenomena – Undentifide Aerial) Phenomenon), is a real threat from opponents right here on Earth.
Also this past May, a new survey found that nearly two-thirds of all Americans now believe there is life beyond Earth and the US government is not telling the public the full truth.
The term UFO has recently been replaced by “unknown flying phenomenon” (UAP), especially in light of the fact that the Pentagon declassified three videos in April 2020. These videos have previously been recognized by the US Navy as real, with images recorded by pilots on video sensors during training flights in 2004 and 2015.
“Tic Tac” Event on Pacific Ocean 2014
UFO encounters, documented in numerous interviews with eyewitnesses, remain a mystery. However, the object’s incredible speed and motion have led to speculation that it is of extraterrestrial origin.
At least six Super Hornet pilots aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz are believed to have had direct or instrument contact with UFOs on November 14, 2004. The first video of their UFO encounters leaked online in early 2007.
Watch a video of US pilots tracking UFOs over the Pacific Ocean during the so-called “Tic Tac” event of 2014:
Witnesses say the videos were widely circulated on the Navy’s intranet – used for communication between ships in the carrier group – and an unidentified sailor in the group was likely leaked it. The clip became one of the most notable pieces of evidence in the UFO community when the Pentagon confirmed its authenticity in 2017.
In January of this year, Chad Underwood, the former Navy pilot who shot the famously leaked video clip, broke his silence in an interview with New York Magazine.
He said the elongated, wingless ‘Tic Tac’ object was discovered off the coast of Mexico in the Pacific Ocean. Underwood also revealed that for about two weeks, the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton, of Carrier Strike Group 11, continuously tracked the mysterious aircraft on an advanced radar.
The radar communications were so inexplicable that the system was even shut down and restarted to check for errors – but operators continued to monitor the unidentified aircraft.
Then, on November 14, 2004, Commander David Fravor said he was flying in an F/A-18F Super Hornet when he came into direct contact with the object. The object appeared to dive below the surface of the water, emerging and accelerating out of sight as he attempted to approach it.
When Fravor landed on the deck of the Nimitz, Underwood was preparing to take off on his own training flight. Fravor tells Underwood about the strange encounter, and prompts Underwood to keep an eye out. He told how suddenly he saw a blip on his radar before tracking it on his FLIR camera.
Later, while Underwood was flying an F/A-18F Super Hornet of the USS Nimitz carrier strike group (above), the same ‘unidentified aerial phenomenon’ was encountered.
Underwood told New York magazine: “What caught my eye the most was the way it behaved erratically. What I mean by ‘erratic’ is changes in altitude, airspeed and aspects unlike anything I’ve encountered when encountering other aerial targets.”
Underwood said the object did not obey the laws of physics and fell from a height of more than 15,000 meters to 30 meters in a few seconds, which he called “impossible”. The former pilot added that he saw no sign of an engine heat intake or any sign of propulsion.
However, Underwood declined to speculate on whether the object was an alien spacecraft. “It’s not my business. But I did see something. It was also seen, firsthand, by both my commanders, Dave Fravor, and the Marine Corps Hornet commander who was also there.
