Serena Williams on Friday was in the stands when Inter Miami took on Cruz Azul in the Major League Soccer’s League Cup match. The main reason why a pregnant Williams made such a plan was to watch soccer superstar Lionel Messi on his debut for Inter Miami.

And Lionel Messi certainly did not disappoint the home crowd and the lineup of celebrities alongside Williams. Messi scored a vintage, decisive free kick in the 94th minute that powered Inter Miami to a 2-1 win over their opponents. The 36-year-old still has all the power and agility to play competitive soccer and the free kick was a perfect example of the same, his move that has won him fans around the world.
