A luxury masterpiece: Mansory 2021 Rolls Royce Ghost V-12

If you’re not into Elegance & Refinement for your Ghost, Mansory has got you covered.

Rolls Royce’s design department hasn’t had much to do in the last two decades. Their designs have certainly stood the test of time with subtle facelifts for their cars. Between 2003 and 2017, there were only two models: the Phantom and the Ghost. There were also coupe and convertible versions, but that was about it.

Fortunately, there has been a renaissance in recent years. Both the Phantom and Ghost were completely redesigned from the ground up, and in keeping with the times, Rolls added an SUV, the Cullinan to their lineup. The new Ghost in particular appears futuristic without losing its traditional appearance, and it is dignified without being overbearing.

Unfortunately, your typical Rolls Royce customer no longer consists primarily of gray-haired men in their three-piece suits. There is now an audience with less sophisticated tastes that desire extravagance. Here is where, German tuner, Mansory comes in who have created their fair share of truly outlandish and over-the-top designs.

Exterior

A lot of revisions have been made to the exterior of the Ghost by Mansory. The car now sports a carbon-fiber diffuser, 22-inch rims, and several other superfluous frills. If you think the illuminated grille is ridiculous, you’re not alone; it’s standard for Rolls-Royce.

Because they are no longer permitted to illuminate the Spirit of Ecstasy, this is a form of recompense. The Spirit of Ecstasy has also been darkened. This inconspicuous lighting though does complement the car’s color scheme, which is brilliant orange. The new “ultralight” hood is made from carbon fiber and features a “visible carbon structure.”

The front bumper, as well as the running lights, have been updated. A splitter and side skirts are now included. Spoilers are strategically placed on the roof and the trunk. The sports exhaust system now has a redesigned diffuser. All of the doorknobs are purposefully painted black. The tires are stretched on the gloss Type V.6 rims and are 265/35 R22 in the front and 295/30 R22 in the back.

Customers who own a Rolls-Royce, as you may know, want to keep their drinks cool. As a result, most models have a champagne cooler, and with an option for a separate caviar cooler as well.

As a result, you now have the option to purchase the Mansory Rolls-Royce Ghost with a matching cooler bag that runs on the cigarette lighter. The 14-liter cooler bag on this Ghost was made from the same leather as the steering wheel.

Of course, it doesn’t end with an orange steering wheel and a cooler bag. Diodes on the seats, door cards supplement the ambient lighting. One of the most notable features on recent Rolls Royce’s, the Starlight Headliner has been retained.

What’s under the Hood?

The 6.75-liter V-12 engine’s output has now increased from 571 horsepower, 627 pound-feet to 720 horsepower and 753 pound-feet of torque, thanks to a redesigned engine control unit, the addition of new turbochargers, and an exhaust system.} As a result, the time to 60 mph is down to just 4.4 seconds, which is 0.4 seconds quicker than the Standard Ghost that the car is based on. The top speed is limited to 155 mph.

Conclusion

Mansory is a brand that doesn’t usually identify itself with pricing, but expect it to be pretty steep considering the base car is a Ghost, to begin with. If you can afford a Rolls Royce, getting it further customized to your taste shouldn’t really be a problem.
