“87 million will also come to nothing someday” – Ex-Venus and Serena Williams coach reveals bold move

The legendary tennis duo, Serena Williams and Venus Williams are absolutely remarkable. No price tag can justify the amount of talent that these two possess. On top of that, for the sisters, having their father as their coach and mentor just made things better.

Richard Williams, from the first day, has been actively involved in the careers of his daughters. He has never taken a step back from any of his primary responsibilities. Richard was the number one cheerleader for the Williams sister. Williams sisters’ former coach Rick Macci recently shared one such incident of how Richard Williams had his daughters back when he was offered a tremendous amount of money.

Richard Williams says ‘NO’!

Serena Williams and Venus Williams have always been in the spotlight because of their amazing journey so far. Williams. No price tag can justify the amount of talent that these two possess. Richard Williams believed in the same thing when he was offered a tremendous amount of money in 1992.

Rick Macci tweeted about the incident saying, “In 1992 Richard Williams on ESPN Outside the Lines Interview @serenawilliams @venuswilliams were 10 and 11. He said he was offered 87 million for the rights to the girls’ career. But he said No because the 87 million will be peanuts someday. How nuts is that! I LOVE THIS GUY!”

Given his important role in the lives and success of the Williams sisters, he was also offered to star in his own reality show. He was offered a whopping $500,000 for that. A lot of radio stations and TV shows have tried to bag him. But as of now, he has said no to everyone and his focus remains on protecting his daughters, and no amount of money will sway him from performing his duty as a father.

Richard Williams has always been instrumental in the careers of his daughters and we expect nothing less from him.
